Department of Electrical Engineering

The department of Electrical Engineering is one of the major department of Silchar Polytechnic. The department runs 3-years Diploma course in Electrical Engineering stream and currently has intake capacity of 40 students. Students passing from the department get absorbed in the State Electricity Board of Assam, various govt departments and industrial & co-operate houses. Some also opt for higher studies in the Engineering colleges in Assam.
